Fuerteventura Golf Holidays
PGA Golf Courses
Fuerteventura is fast becoming the best place to play golf in the Canary Islands.
A fantastic year-round climate averaging 22 degrees and plenty of low cost airlines have helped the growth of golf holidays to Fuerteventura as golfing sun-seekers head here both at the height of the summer season and as a winter sun option. Picturesque and well-maintained Fuerteventura golf courses such as the aptly named Fuerteventura Golf, Salinas de Antigua Golf, Jandia Golf and Las Playitas Golf are some of the island's top golf courses.
Fuerteventura Golf Club held the 2004 Spanish Open, while the new Las Salinas golf course is already receiving great reviews.
The course in Jandia is a challenge for any level of player.
There are two additional 9 hole courses on the island and for the serious golfer why not play on one of Lanzarote's golf courses.
Our Fuerteventura Villa, is just a stones throw away from both golf courses so it is an ideal base for your golfing holiday.
We can help you arrange tee times and organise for you to play with the Corralejo Golf Societywhile on holiday.
The Fuerteventura Villa is only 10 minutes walk from both the town centre of Caleta De Fuste and the new shopping centre.
The golf course also boasts a 5 star clubhouse, the Elba Palace Golf Resort Hotel, which homes the pro shop and the resident PGA professional.
It has a driving range, chipping area, practice bunker and putting green. Practice facilities include a 50 bay driving range, club and buggy hire, a large putting green and a second green for chipping and bunker shots.
The second course to open was built alongside the first one in Caleta.
This is very well set up as a course that is ideal for the holidaymaker type golfer, as well as experienced golfer, it being slightly less challenging than Fuerteventura Golf Course.
This course is currently maintained in very good condition.
The course in Jandia, on the right as you enter Morro Jable, though open still has a few teething problems. The course is quite hilly and would be more suitable if the course had buggiess, but at the moment there aren't any.
The paths between tees aren't clearly defined and it can be difficult to find the next tee. It is well laid out and if the teething problems can be sorted out this promises to be a good course.
